What happens to funds that are donated?
Once a transaction is completed, the services that we use (PayPal, GivingFuel) automatically subtract their fees for services rendered. These companies have proven to be the most cost efficient in the industry without sacrificing quality, and security. These are very well known companies with excellent tract records. On a $100.00 donation, less than $3 is paid out to these companies. So as you can see, the amount is very minimal.
At this point the funds sit in a LUC account until the end of the month when all totals can be tallied up. From there, we subtract corresponding amounts to pay LUC monthly expenses such as: business software - $30. That's actually it as far as monthly bills go. In addition to this, we put to the side $15.00 per $100.00 donations for tax purposes. At this point we are not a 501(c)3 organization, so we MUST obey all U.S laws.
We do not currently have any staff.
Here is the breakdown on a $1,000.00 month: $1,000.00
..........less than $30.00 goes to Paypal/GivingFuel: - $30.00
....................................................monthly expenses: - $30.00
.............................................................tax purposes: - $150.00
................................................................Remainder: $790.00
As you can see we are able to send roughly 80% of your donations to the people that truly need it.

Will my funds ever be used for purposes other than what I intended?
Times may come where one project is reaching a crucial point where it could use a boost. Though rare, these times may come. So we want to be upfront with you and tell you that we do reserve the right to move funds around in a manner that would benefit the overall community. For example, if the RELIEF project has a substantial amount of funds sitting in it, yet there is a child who was kicked out of school due to his/her inability to pay tuition, we reserve the right to withdraw the appropriate funds from the RELIEF project, and add it to the L.E.T project in order to help this child with that month's tuition payment through our scholarship program.
Again, we would like to stress that these situations are rare. Should they ever arise, we assure you that we will use Godly wisdom in our approach.
