WELCOME!
Dear Reader,
Fonds-Parisien, Haiti, is a small village very close to the border of the Dominican Republic. Being that it is not a well known tourist attraction, not too many people know of its existence. For this reason, Fonds-Parisien is often overlooked when it comes to aid.
On January 12, 2010, Haiti suffered a devastating earthquake that measured a whopping 7.0M in the center of Port-au-Prince, Haiti's overpopulated capital. This event not only killed, but also displaced many unfortunate families. Many of the people who were able to escape "ground-zero" managed to move out to the countryside. Fonds-Parisien, who itself felt the rumbling of the earthquake, opened its borders to welcome many of the unfortunate families that were escaping the torn capital. Not having enough resources to sustain its own inhabitants, Fonds-Parisien is now faced with the challenge of sustaining a growing population who desperately need help.
During a recent trip to Fonds-Parisien, I was able to witness the spirit of this community. Though facing increasingly tough challenges, they exhibit exuberant hope for the future. The spirit of this community is deeply rooted in a love for God in a way that is not easily seen amongst those in poverished communities. It is their love for Christ that fills their heart with hope.

During my visit, I was able to assess the very needs of this community. It is very easy to give a word of encouragement, wish them luck, hop on a plane back to the states, and forget all about them. But how does that help even the smallest of them? Life Unlimited Charities was birthed out of a necessity to meet the needs of the people of Fonds-Parisien. This community is desperately in need of support in every aspect and must not be forgotten.
One person can do great things, two can achieve even greater things. If one person can change the world, what can many do? Life Unlimited Charities, with you as a partner, can make an infinite impact in the lives of a community so desperately in need of help. We pray that you are willing to join hands with us, as we extend a helping hand. In the words of the Haitian people, "L'Union Fait La Force!" which translates to "Unity Is Strength".
